Ed Martin for Prophecy21.com: How's the tour been going so far?
Johnny Kelley drummer for Type O Negative: So far its been going prettygood.

P21: How have people been reacting to the new album?
JK: So far people seem to be pretty into it giving us a good reaction.

P21: It seems like the new album seems to take a step back towards the soundof Bloody Kisses or October Rust. What caused that change in sound?
JK: Peter just wanted to make it more basic, he really wanted to make itmore stripped down.

P21: What's your favorite track on the new album?
JK: Probably Anaesthesia or Netty.

P21: How'd being on the Freddy vs Jason soundtrack come about?
JK: Roadrunner has a department that takes care of that sort of stuff andthey just let us know that it would be appearing on the soundtrack.

P21: Does the song appear in the movie?
JK: I have no idea, I'll find out when the movie comes out.

P21: How'd you guys decide to cover angry inch for this album?
JK: Peter saw the movie and liked the song and thought we could dosomething good with it.

P21: Whats your favorite cover the bands ever done?
JK: I think that would have to be Black Sabbath.

P21: How did you guys decide on Lacuna Coil as the opening act for thistour?
JK: It was brought to our attention that they were interested and that theywould be available and we we're familiar with their background and thoughtit'd be a good fit.

P21: There was no Halloween tour last year was that a result of working onthis album?
JK: Yup.

P21: Will there be one this year ya think?
JK: I'm pretty sure of it.

P21: There were a few years between the release of this album and the last.What did you do with down time?
JK: We've spent time with our families and we've been working on the recordfor about two and a half years now.

P21: The bands been together for about fifteen years now. What's been thebiggest change for you over that period of time?
JK: Hmmm......Waistbands and we've all just gotten older.

P21: How did you guys decide on I Don't Wanna Be Me as the first single?
JK: It was a combination of pretty much everybody; management, band, recordlabel. We all felt that it was the song that lent itself most to being thesingle for the album, but yeah it was just a mixture of everybody.

P21: How did the shoot for the video go?
JK: As far as video shoots go it was pretty painless. It wasn't that bad.

P21: What bands that you haven't toured with yet would you like to in thefuture?
JK: I'd like to go out with A Perfect Circle.

P21: What bands have you been listening to lately?
JK: The Hellacopters.
