Shaun Glass of Soil: yeah should be a blast and a lot of cool bands on this year. well after 11 months on tour we have played to some damn huge crowds on a lot of radio fests and also in europe some of those fests were quite insane.
P21: Are there any plans to reissue Throttle Junkies?
SG:well not really BUT who knows if there is a demand. the last uk tour we sold some that we still had and like a shitload of people wanted them as that and the ep EL CHUPACABRA are very hard to get out there.
P21: What is your favorite part of touring/your least favorite part?
SG: the show, the fan's and umm the part of making people happy i cant believe how much we have done on scars.
P21: What are some of your favorite places to play and is their anywherein particular you've been wanting to play?
SG: well i do love south carolina there sick as fuck and florida always kills it BUT we love chicago as this is the birth of soil but we do have quite a fan base in europe mainly in the UK. we just did 3 sold out shows in london INSANITY.i want to get back to sweden we did a killer fest there (hultsfred) and i loved it so much as some of the coolest bands are from there!!
P21: Who are some of your biggest influences?
SG: shit i love a lot of stuff BUT i grew up on kiss as kid they were my god's but james/ metallica really made me want to learn how to write a good fucking song and adam & i both love there shit, just put on puppets any day and it will shit on half your c.d.'s after all these years that says a lot of a band and i hope we could do that with our music.
P21: If you could tour with any bands what bands would they be?
SG: black sabbath, metallica, deftones would be damn fucking killer
P21: What's been your favorite tour you have done so far?
SG: merry mayhem with ozzy, zombie & mudvayne that was quite a blast and a lot chaos on that fucking tour.
P21: Any plans for the 4th of July?
SG: well as of now we are here on it as we were going to leave for ozz fest kick off BUT now sharon is ill so we are leaving for the road sunday.
P21: When can we expect to see a Soil headlining tour?
